It is safe to say that Cyberpunk 2077 has not lived up to expectations, despite still being a really fun game.
Many of the things that were promised in the game are missing and CD Projekt Red spent most of December scrambling to save their reputation.
January 2021 Patch
The next update for the game, the 1.07 update, will be coming in January 2021.
This will be followed up by a major content update in February.
These two updates are said to "fix the most prominent problems" when it comes to the last gen ports.
Release Date
There has been no official release date given for the patch yet, just that it will arrive in January.

With CD Projekt Red in damage control mode right now, it would make sense for the update to arrive sooner rather than later.
So it is likely the update will come in the next week or two.
Patch Notes
Update 1.07 has no formal patch notes yet, but we expect it will be much larger than the previous patch, Update 1.06.
Update 1.06 was a large update which saw many issues addressed.
Fixes includes:
- Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
- Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.
- Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
File Size
The 1.06 update was 18GB in size, about 1/3 of the total games size.
1.07 is expected to be even larger as it addresses the majority of the early issues the game has.
Free DLC
It's been confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 DLC is coming in early 2021.
There is no official word on what the DLC will be, but CDPR did promise numerous pieces of free content in addition to later paid DLC.
